Taking Photos at Home
Can I submit an old photo?
No. Most countries require a recent photo reflecting your current appearance. The US requires a photo taken within the last 6 months, Canada within 12 months, and the UK within 1 month. Always take a fresh photo with a plain white or light background.
How can I take better passport photos at home?
- Use a plain white wall or hang a white sheet.
- Shoot in natural light, about 6 feet from the subject.
- Keep the camera at eye level.
- Frame shoulders and chest — not just a close-up of the face.
- Enable flash if lighting is low.
- Keep a neutral expression: eyes open, mouth closed.
How can I take professional-quality passport photos at home?
- Place two lights on each side of the subject to reduce shadows.
- Add background lighting to avoid shadows behind the subject.
- Keep the subject 4 feet from the wall, camera at eye level.
- Ensure uniform lighting across the face.
What kind of camera do I need?
Any modern smartphone or digital camera works, as long as you have good indoor lighting. Use at least a 2MP setting (4MP recommended) for clarity.

How much does it cost?
- 6 photos = $9.95 (vs. $16–$20 at CVS/Walgreens)

How does the service work?
- Upload a home-taken photo on a plain background.
- We fix background, lighting, and exposure, and crop to your country's official size.
- We place multiple photos on a single 4×6 sheet.
- We upload for local pickup at CVS/Walgreens/Walmart — or mail to you.
What if my uploaded photo isn't usable?
We'll send tips to help you retake it. If it still doesn't work, we'll issue a full refund.
Can I get my photo pre-approved before paying?
Yes. Upload or email your photo for free pre-approval. If approved, we send a secure payment link so you only pay once you know it'll work.
I don't want to use a credit card online. What are my options?
Pay with Venmo or Zelle directly from your bank account — no credit card required.
Do I need a PayPal account?
No. Use PayPal guest checkout with any debit or credit card.
How do I pay for multiple people at once?
On the PayPal checkout page, adjust the quantity field to match the number of people or photo sets before paying.
Delivery & Pickup
How will I get my photos?
- Mail — Printed photos shipped to your address (5–7 business days).
- Same-Day Store Pickup — CVS, Walgreens, or Walmart (usually ready in 1–2 hours; store charges a small print fee).
- Email Delivery — Digital 4×6 format for home or local printing.
I need photos urgently. How fast can I get them?
- Fastest: instant email delivery in 4×6 format (print at home or at CVS/Walgreens).
- Same-day pickup: ready at local stores within hours.
- Expedited processing: email us after payment to request priority service.
How does CVS/Walgreens/Walmart pickup work exactly?
We upload your 4×6 sheet to the store of your choice. At pickup, ask for 4×6 photo prints — not "passport photos." The cost is typically 12–35¢ per sheet. Cut out the passport-sized photos at home to save over $15 per set compared to in-store passport photo pricing.
My printed photos aren't exactly 2×2 inches. What should I do?
Minor variations (2–3mm) can occur due to store printer calibration. Try another store, order additional photos, or print from our emailed file for precise results. Small variations rarely cause rejection.
Do you deliver outside the USA?
Yes — via email delivery in 4×6 format, which you can print locally and reuse for future prints. Physical international shipping is limited, but email delivery works globally.
Passport Photo Requirements
What are the official US passport photo requirements?
- 2×2 inch size
- Taken within the last 6 months
- Plain white or off-white background
- Full face, no shadows
- No hats or tinted glasses (daily religious attire allowed)
Can I order photos in different sizes for other countries?
Yes. We provide custom sizes for any country or requirement — for example, India PAN card (25×35mm), China passport (33×48mm), UK/EU (35×45mm). Specify the size at checkout or email us.
Privacy & Groups
What is your privacy policy?
- We do not sell your information.
- Photos are deleted after 14 days.
- Payments are securely handled by PayPal — we don't store card data.
Can churches, schools, or groups order in bulk?
Yes. For groups of 10 or more, email us for special discounts and simplified processing.
