Brazil Passport Renewal Photos
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Some customers have informed us that the Brazilian Consulates in the USA now accept 2x2 inch (US style) passport photos for Brazil Passport application/renewal.

Looks like Consulates of Brazil in the USA used to require passport photos size 2 x 3 inch but now they have started accepting 2x inch photos. Unless we inform specific size from you, we will create 2x2 inch passport photos for Brazil Passport.
If you want 2x3 inch Brazilian Passport Photos, here are full requirements:
- Two Identical Passport Size Photos, size 2"x3" (5x7 cm),
- Color or Black and White for a Brazilian Passport.
- Photos must have white or a light background
- Photos must be front view
- Must have been taken within the past three (3) months.
- Passport booth instant photos are not accepted
Brazil Visa Photos (Brazilian Visa Pictures)
One recent (2in x 2in) passport-photo, front view, white background pasted at the Visa Appicaltion/Protocl Form. Snapshots or computer pictures are not acceptable;
BRAZIL VISA PHOTOGRAPH SPECIFICATIONS
The picture must be taken against an off-white plain background. The applicant’s face and shoulders must be centralized on the camera and he or she must be looking into the camera. No reflections, shadows or glares are accepted in the picture. The length from the bottom of chin to the top of the head must be between 31 and 36mm (millimetres) in heigth. - The facial expression must be neutral. The eyes must be open and clearly visible. Glasses should not reflect any light. Neither sunglasses nor colorful frames are acceptable (no sunglasses or colored lens accepted). No head covering, excepting the ones used for religious reasons as long as they still enable the perfect visibility of the applicant’s face. Children carrying toys, with pacifier or showing the hands of the adult holding them will not be accepted. IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Starting on September 1, 2009 all visa applications must be made by filling out (on line) the visa electronic form available at the consulate’s website stwww.brazilian-consulate.org by clicking on “VISAS”, “Instructions”, “US Flag”, the visa type that best describe the purpose of your trip to Brazil, and so on, which will provide the list of documentation required (general requirements), visa fee, the link for the electronic visa/protocol form and the link to place an appointment. The delivery receipt (with bar code) must be printed and signed, and presented at the Consulate along with one 2"x 2" photo, and the necessary documentation and visa fee. Procedure: How to Place your order for Brazilian Passport or Visa photos
Step 1: Verify your photo and upload it
Make sure the photo you send us meets following requirements:
- Full UPPER HALF BODY view with all facial features clearly visible.
- Background: white or light colored background.
- Face should neither be too bright nor too dark
- If wearing spectacles – reflection of light from the glasses should not be visible.
- No visible shadow on the face or background.
- Do not wear white/ light colored shirt as it blends with light background. Light reflection from hair should not be visible.
